BELTED - Fine Art Print

After creating CINCHED, Sophie intended on continuing the theme of belts and constriction in her work. She ended up going down another route, but after graduating found herself drawn back to the idea. In her eyes, BELTED depicts restriction and tensity. 

Sophie Pearson’s work revolves around the experience of living in a fat body as a child into adulthood. In painting, she creates images which are personal to her but relatable to many. Each painting is heavily up to interpretation based on the lived experiences of each and every viewer.
